The new generation of MultiCam CNC routing machinery exhibits increased rigidity, strength and stability required by Furniture and Timber door manufacturers, Cabinet makers, Joinery shops, Shopfitters, Staircase manufacturers and Solid Surface Fabricators for machining simple or complex shapes quickly and easily. Suitable materials for routing include HARDWOOD, PLYWOOD, MDF, CHIPBOARD and most COMPOSITES.
The overall rigidity and stability of the new Series II-S has been achieved by manufacturing the travelling gantry from STEEL instead of aluminium. The linear bearings and rails across the face of the new steel gantry have been increased in size to cope with these heavier loads. The Z axis ball screw has been increased in both length and diameter to cope with carrying heavier motors, such as the 7.0Kw HSD Automatic Tool Change spindle. The X and Y drive system incorporates precision machined rack and pinion.
The overall increase in rigidity means vibration free operation which results in longer tool life, superior edge finish and higher feed rates, whilst being able to carry bigger and more powerful spindle motors through thicker materials.
A larger range of table tops are also now available including T-Slot top, removable table tops and Vacuum hold down tables with valved sectioning. Standard process areas range from 8' x 4', 12' x 6' to 24' x 6'. The vacuum hold down system incorporates ISO standard T-Slots for added functionality and is available with high displacement
Rietschle vacuum pumps.
Spindle motors range from German manufactured Perskes to industry standard high frequency HSD spindles with ISO 30 tool holders.
